We haven’t heard from Velocity Micro and its lineup of affordable Android tablets for a while now, but the company is choosing the perfect time and venue to showcase its latest tablet offerings, the Cruz D610 and Q610.
The Velocity Micro Cruz D610 and the Cruz Q610 are both Jelly Bean tablets that boast a 10-inch display with 1,024 x 768 resolution. While the former is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz AllWinner A20 CPU, the latter comes with a quad-core 1.5GHz Allwinner A31 CPU.
At $199, the Cruz D610 is the cheaper of the two, which explains why Velocity only ships the tablet with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. It also features a microSD card slot, as well as a VGA front cam.
Meanwhile, the Cruz Q610 comes with a $249 price tag, and it sports 2GB of RAM, up to 64GB internal storage, a microSD card slot, 2MP rear camera, and 0.3MP front cam. Both slates are graced with microUSB and Mini HDMI ports.
The two Cruz tablets will hit stores in the first quarter of the year, possibly just before April comes. Interested?
